VoltAir is looking for windy land in Oregon to create community scale wind parks. These parks will allow businesses, farmers and individuals with no wind resource at their facility to purchase a wind turbine from us and we will install and maintain it in the park. The landowner will receive a percentage of the revenue from the turbines. If you are a land owner in Oregon, have 20-100 acres of windy land serviced by Portland General Electric or Pacific Corp (Pacific Power) with 3 phase power on the poles, VoltAir would like to hear from you. You can call your utility to find out if you have three phase power or check to see if you have three insulated wires on the power pole cross arm.

The VoltAir V45 is a commercial-size downwind turbine for farmers, ranchers, businesses and green investors who wish to make a direct investment in green power generation. Capable of producing 100,000 kWhrs of electricity annually at a class 2 (12-14 mph) wind site, the rugged VoltAir 45 (V45) is designed to offset power for pivot irrigation, horse barns, vineyards, cow barns or other agricultural needs.

A new generation of small wind turbines, the V45 is fully automatic and is suitable for unattended operation. Blade pitching and active yaw stabilization (patent pending) maximize output, increase safety and reduce maintenance. The sophisticated computer programming keeps the machine running safely at the design wind speed of 25 mph and automatically furls the blade during storm events or turbulent wind conditions. These features translate into greater annual power.

"First there is the power of the Wind, constantly exerted over the globe...Here is an almost incalculable power at our disposal, yet how trifling the use we make it"
                                                                       Henry David Thoreau
